A favourite haunt in this hot steamy weather is Jackson Park, a 15min stroll to a playground that is often buggy, but always shaded by wonderful mature trees. On the way there, if the gates are open, Kazuo and I often wander through the B’nai Amoona Cemetery. It is so pretty… any time of year.

So beautiful – there’s something special about old cemeteries…There’s one not far from our place filled with really ornate angels & other lovely headstones. Very peaceful 🙂
Hey Kathleen, I do love those wonderful Victorian cemeteries with the angels, always makes me think of Falling Angels by Tracy Chevalier.
Hi! I just found your blog while browsing through the Kiwi Mummy Blogs list. I see that you live in St. Louis (but that you are moving to the UK soon…) I love St. Louis! I am a New Zealander living further up the Mississippi from you, in Iowa.
Hey Jennifer, nice to hear from you. Had a wee peek at your pretty blog, it is really sweet. Hope you have a lovely time welcoming your little girl this month! We’ve had an unexpectedly lovely time here in St Louis and will miss many things when we leave. Our summertime strolls are a real highlight of life in the Lou.
